QUESTION NO. 3

QUESTION: Councillor F. Timmons

To ask the Chief Executive would they consider painting a yellow box at the junctions of:

REPLY:

The Traffic Section has reviewed the locations referenced.

Ninth Lock Road / New Nangor Road:
This junction has been assessed and it has been observed that traffic can back up northbound into the village, particularly during peak periods. To address this issue and to help keep the junction clear, a yellow box will be installed.

Twin roundabouts on Fonthill Road at Nangor Mills and Dunawley:
The twin roundabouts serving the Nangor Mills and Dunawley areas were reviewed and it is noted that yellow box markings are already in place at these locations. If the query relates to the condition or repainting of the existing yellow box markings, this matter will be referred to the Roads Maintenance Section for further consideration.
