QUESTION: Councillor J. Spear

"Can the Manager please report on the properties (address supplied) in Tallaght? Specifically, when they will be put up for sale, the process by which it will happen, and how someone who wants to purchase one can apply to do so?"

REPLY:

Four properties in Tallaght, Dublin 24 were compulsorily acquired under the Derelict Sites Act and title was vested to South Dublin County Council in April 2024. The properties were approved for funding under the Urban Regeneration and Development Fund (URDF) Call 3. Minor remedial works have been undertaken to make the properties suitable for private sale for residential use. It is anticipated that the properties will be made available on the market for sale in 2 phases with preference to first time buyers, once all legal formalities have concluded.
