QUESTION: Councillor J. Sinnott

To ask the chief executive if the Council has received any update or progress reports on the works being undertaken by Uisce Eireann in Rathfarnham Village and whether there are plans for additional works into 2026?

REPLY:

Uisce Eireann have made significant progress in laying a new watermain along the Rathfarnham Bypass. Once the new watermain is installed they will commence decommissioning of the large watermains on Main Street and also rectify a significant number of issues with the distribution watermain that runs through Main Street. 

The majority of work on Main Street will be carried out in Q1 2026.
