MOTION: Councillor F. Timmons

That this council include an objective in the Clondalkin Framework plan that SDCC supports a Clondalkin as an Autism Friendly Town

Report: 

The proposed motion seeks to include an additional objective within the Clondalkin Local Planning Framework which relates to supporting Clondalkin as an Autism Friendly Town.  

While this initiative is not specific to planning and land use, it is considered that it may be linked to the objectives included within Chapter 6 under CHE8: Social Inclusion. There is no objection to the sentiment of the motion.  

CE Recommendation: 

Insert new objective CHE8 Objective 3 in Chapter 6 Community, Homes and Employment of the LPF, 

To read as follows; 

‘To support the designation of Clondalkin as an Autism Friendly Town’.
