QUESTION: Councillor C. Brady

To ask the Chief Executive to outline plans for outdoor markets and events in our area during the first half of 2026 and to make a statement on the matter.

REPLY:

Plans are in place to support the continued development of outdoor markets and events across the county during the first half of 2026. The Council is currently progressing a programme of work that includes identifying suitable locations, engaging with relevant stakeholders, and ensuring that the necessary operational and regulatory requirements are met. Further updates will be provided to elected members as this programme advances.
