QUESTION: Councillor M. Johansson

To ask the Chief Executive if the Ninth Lock Road between the Nangor Road and the Fonthill Road has been considered for an active travel project in order to provide a safe cycle route from the North Clondalkin area to the village?

REPLY:

The Active Travel team is developing projects in line with the Cycle South Dublin programme. The Ninth Lock Rd is included and the Cycle South Dublin programme and will link other elements of the Cycle South Dublin programme in Clondalkin Village with south Lucan and north Clondalkin as well as linking into the Clonburris road network. This scheme is at preliminary design stage.
