QUESTION: Councillor A. Hayes

To ask the manager for an update on the 2023 budget which put money aside for a temporary roof to be installed in Waterstown House.

REPLY:

A structural design consultant was appointed and has produced drawings for the provision of a permanent roof for Waterstown House.  The consultant has progressed the project to quotation stage for construction however it is proving difficult to obtain quotes from suitable contractors.  To ensure delivery of the project once a successful tender is received, a capital budget has been provided to ensure funding is available when required.
