QUESTION: Councillor E. Ó Broin

To ask the Chief Executive for an update on Motion 1 from the February 2025 LEA which sought assistance establishing the ownership structure of the Mill Ponds in Clondalkin.

REPLY:

As a general principle, the Council does not undertake title or ownership research on lands that are not in its ownership.

Carrying out such work can be complex and often requires specialist legal expertise and significant staff resources. It would not be appropriate to establish a precedent of conducting this work on behalf of third parties.

Information on land ownership is publicly available through the Property Registration Authority should any party wish to obtain it directly.
