"To ask the Manager for a report regarding plans to widen and/or re-align the upper section of Grange Road adjacent to the Hermitage Estate?"

REPLY:

The upgrade of the Grange road adjacent to Hermitage Estate will be carried out in conjunction with the Green Route Realignment Scheme.   The section of the Grange Road in question extends from the T-junction with Fortification Hill northwards to the southern side of the entrance to 217-231 Grange Road.   Construction works are targeted to commence in late September, early October 2006 with a duration of approximately 15 months.
