To ask the chief executive to confirm if the area in front of St Catherine´s Gate and Ballyboden Roundabout are maintained by SDCC and if it is included in the maintenance schedule?

REPLY:

The roundabout at St. Catherine’s Gate and Ballyboden is maintained by South Dublin County Council. Maintenance works are scheduled to take place in the coming weeks. In addition, the location has been identified for enhancement under the 2025 Public Realm Improvement Works Programme, which will include the introduction of low-density, pollinator-friendly planting.
