MOTION: Councillor D. McManus

That this area committee asks the Chief Executive to examine a large section of public realm outside Divine Word N.S. opposite 2-14 Grange Manor Close to be used a pick-up drop-off area for the local school and engagement may take place with school management? At present, this area is inaccessible for such use due to a high kerb in place.

REPORT:

The Traffic Section has reviewed the location where the provision of a drop kerb has been requested. The area in question, between the existing kerb and the boundary wall, is not in the charge of the Council. Therefore, the Council is not in a position to carry out the requested works.
