The Dublin Region Homeless Executive (DRHE) is provided by Dublin City Council as the lead statutory authority on the response to homelessness in Dublin and adopts a shared service approach across the Dublin region on behalf of South Dublin County Council, Fingal County Council and Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council.

Refuge facilities, provided and managed by Saoirse supported by the Council are operational at two locations in the County to support victims of domestic violence. Additional supported/step down/transitional accommodation is also provided by approved housing bodies and other voluntary organisations including at Springfield, Kiltalown, Glencarrig and Neilstown.

The Council, in conjunction with the Dublin Region Homeless Executive will continue to explore potential options for additional hubs and other supported accommodation in the County.
