MOTION: Councillor D. McManus

That this area committee asks the Chief Executive to examine the condition of a public stone wall along Grange Road, Rathfarnham as stones are falling off due to mortar disintegrating loosening the stones, the concern being that in time water ingress will occur to these walls and cause further damage and loose stones are lying about the base of the walls, if appropriate repairs may take place and if a statement may be made available?

REPORT:

An inspection of the wall will be carried out to determine the extent of the issue and how best to resolve. If the issue is widespread it may require altering the capping detail which would be expensive
