QUESTION: Councillor D. Donnelly

"To the chief executive to come up with a solution to the traffic problems in the Belgard/Cookstown area. To have a filter light installed from Cookstown to the belgard road, and if the yellow squares could be redone as there has been a number of incidents at this junction?"

REPLY:

The Traffic Section will review the design of the traffic light junction to enhance safety. If a filter light from Cookstown to Belgard Road is required, it will be considered for installation. Additionally, the repainting of the yellow box will be assessed as part of ongoing maintenance works.
