QUESTION: Councillor M. Duff

"Would the Manager please advise if any further District Enhance Projects are planned for 2025 and could he also indicate if Dominics Shopping Centre in Tallaght is being considered for the upgrade programme?"

REPLY:

Rosemount District Centre Enhancement is at construction and will be completed by February 2025.

Bawnogue District Centre Enhancement is scheduled to commence in April 2025 with a six month construction period.

St. Dominic's Shopping Centre is listed for a scheme but an initial assessment of the site has shown limited intervention opportunities without removing some parking which we know may be contentious. Engagement with traders and residents will be part of the scheme planning process but we do not currently have a timeline for when this will commence.
