QUESTION: Councillor T. Costello

"To ask the manager how many people in Tallaght are currently waiting on window and door upgrades?"

REPLY:

The Council has allocated funding within its 3 year Capital Budget for a comprehensive window and door replacement programme. There are currently 140 homes in the Tallaght area identified for works under the programme. Of the 140 homes - 

• 64 are at contractor stage
• works on a further 51 homes are due to be awarded to our contractor in Q1-2025 
• tender documents are currently being drafted for works on a further 25 homes

To date window and door replacement works have been completed on 352 homes in the Tallaght area.
