QUESTION: Councillor F. Timmons

To ask the Chief executive will he work with the developer of Kilcarberry Grange in regard to Road safety and ensure Road signage and Road markings?

REPLY:

South Dublin County Council is currently working with the developer of Kilcarberry Grange in relation to the taking in charge of the housing estate.  As part of that signing off process we will be ensuring that the road lining and signage is safe and sufficient throughout the estate before we can recommend it for TIC.  To date the developer has been working well with SDCC on various snagging issues.  We expect that the road lining and signage will be completed to our satisfaction in the near future.
