QUESTION: Councillor L. de Courcy

To ask the Chief Executive for an update on the old sports centre in Clondalkin. Has any progress been made in assessing if another location is more suitable for the various organisations looking to use it as base? If not, when will this be actioned?

REPLY:

The former swimming pool building beside Clondalkin Leisure Centre requires a detailed assessment of works required to facilitate potential uses for the facility. Once the assessment is undertaken, the community development team will work with ASD to assess potential options for use of the facility.
