QUESTION: Councillor D. Richardson

"Can the Manager make a report on the broadband problem at Catherine's row in killinarden as all the residents have no access to broadband as the builder on the site did not leave any cable for supply?"

REPLY:

The Housing Department have been liaising with Eir with regard to the broadband connection issues at St Catherine's Row. Eir have advised that there are a number of infrastructure upgrades required to enable broadband connections take place. They envisage that this will take approximately 8 weeks to complete and have agreed to prioritise this work.
