MOTION: Councillor T. Costello

"Following on from the success and high usage of the dog park in Sean Walsh Park , I would like to request that SDCC explore the option of a Dog Run in Dodder Valley Park - I get a lot of messages from people who love DVP and would love this as an addition to this park?"

REPORT:

The Public Realm Section will examine Dodder Valley Park to explore the possibility of installing a dog run. It should be noted a large proportion of the lands within Dodder Valley Park is allocated to biodiversity and recreational facilities.  If a suitable location can be identified then the provision of a dog run in Dodder Valley Park will be considered for inclusion in the public realm improvement works programme for 2025.
