QUESTION: Councillor J. Hannon

"To ask the Manager to provide necessary pedestrian measures at Killinniny Way, Ballycullen so as to facilitate the safe movement of pedestrians to schools and other community facilities?"

REPLY:

There are proposals to provide pedestrian measures as part of the " Ballycragh NS / Firhouse Community School " safety measures outlined in the interim report to the May 06 Area Meeting. Additional meetings are to be held in the near future with Schools Representatives, Parents Associations, Gardai etc to finalise the measures with a view to undertaking implementation works in late 2006.
