QUESTION: Councillor D. Ó Brádaigh

To ask the manager to provide an update on the development of the 'Code of Practice' offering guidelines for the use of CCTV and mobile recording devices in the county.

REPLY: 

The Data Protection Officer has reviewed the Code of Practice and proposed an updated Surveillance Device Policy.

This proposed policy includes all of the recommendations from the Data Protection Commission and has been submitted in draft form to management for review.
