QUESTION: Councillor L. Dunne

"To ask the Manager, under the 3 year capital programme, when will the targeted maintenance and upgrade works including roofing works, bin storage areas, external painting and the installation of mechanical ventilation in Mac Uilliam commence and how many houses/apartments will be completed in each phase of those works?"

REPLY:

An assessment of the Mac Uilliam estate has been completed. Thirteen units within Mac Uilliam Parade and Walk have been selected for painting works which will include the maintenance of door and window frames, as required. The further roll out of mechanical ventilation installation is to commence this year with seven units selected for works. An additional assessment will be carried out with regard to the roofs and bin storage areas to identify issues, if any.
