QUESTION NO. 8
QUESTION: Councillor F. Timmons
To ask the Chief Executive For an update on the replacement of a tree at St Brigids Well, when is this likely to happen and what type of tree is proposed? Also to ask that the local Lá Fhéile Bríde Committe would be invited to the tree planting due to the importance of the site.
REPLY:
It is proposed to replace the tree at St Brigids Well with a hawthorn which would be an appropriate tree for the location in question. The tree will be planted in Q1 2024 prior to St Brigids Day. The Lá Fhéile Bríde Committee will be contacted prior to planting once a contact name and number have been provided.
