MOTION: Councillor S. O'Hara

That this Area Committee calls for an inspection of the manholes in Newcastle Village and for the relevant utility providers to carry out the necessary remedial works to ensure they are safely sealed and level with the street surface.

REPORT:

Following a drive through inspection there was no apparent issue with the carriageway ironworks in Newcastle village.

If specific locations could be provided we will review and action as necessary
