QUESTION: Councillor G. O'Connell

To ask the Chief Executive for an update on the proposed right size apartments on the Old Lucan Road Palmerstown and if he will make a statement on the matter.

REPLY:

The Approved Housing Body that was progressing this development have advised the Council in the current economic climate based on tenders received the project is currently financially unviable.  The Council are currently assessing options for project delivery including acquiring an adjacant strip of land, which will not be completed in the short to medium term.
