MOTION NO.4

MOTION: Councillor Y. Collins

That this Council carries out long overdue clearing and cleaning works to the Keadeen Walkway, Dublin 12 and confirms that this area has been included on a cleaning schedule such that it will be regularly inspected and cleared as necessary going forward.

REPORT:

The Keadeen Walkway has been scheduled for cleaning and removal of weeds and this work will be carried out in the coming weeks.  The area is monitored by the litter warden for the area and any illegal dumping which is found is reported to the Public Realm Operations Section for removal.  This laneway is on the cleaning programme for the D12 laneways and in accordance with this programme it is scheduled to be cleaned, weed removal and any other necessary tasks carried out at a frequency of once per year.
