QUESTION: Councillor T. Costello

"To ask the manager for an update on contact with the owners of the cottages at 10 & 11 Old Bawn road. Has roof tiles been fixed as requested and rubbish removed from back yard?"

REPLY:

The last contact from the owner was on the 15th of May 2023. The Council has tried to contact the owner in the intervening period.

The roof has not been repaired, nor has the dumped material been removed from the rear of the properties.

The rear of both properties remain open to unauthorised access.

It is proposed to take further action under the provisions of the Derelict Sites Act.
