QUESTION: Councillor M. Murphy

"To ask the Manager how would the owner of 192 Balrothery go about securing ownership for a garden of the Waste Ground at the rear of his house which is in the corner of the Old Folks Homes site owned by SDCC?"

REPLY

The owner of the house in question should apply in writing to the SEO Housing  Department Maintenance Section and the application will be investigated and considered. The application should include a map delineating the area concerned.

A decision will be made based on the ownership of the lands in question ,their utility or otherwise to either the Housing Department or other Council Section or Department.
