QUESTION: Councillor D. McManus

To request the Chief Executive to arrange new tree planting or hedging along a public wall (address provided), as this location was recently cleared of hedging, and if a timeline may be available?

REPLY:

A site inspection has been conducted at the location in question here on Ballyroan Road.  It was found that vegetation including hedging and trees has been removed from along the boundary of one private property, this has not been done by Council staff and unfortunately it is not known by whom this clearance has been done as they did not have the permission of the Council.  The Council has no plans at the present time to carry out replacement tree or hedge planting at this location.
