QUESTION: Councillor Joanna Tuffy

To ask the Chief Executive Officer for an update on the caretaker's house in the Old Esker Cemetery and measures that have been taken to ensure it does not fall into further dereliction?

REPLY:

The caretakers house in Esker Cemetery has been vacant for a number of years and is not in a habitable condition.  The house has been secured to prevent access.  Recently the window nearest the road has been vandalised and arrangements are currently in hand to have it repaired.  The Council's Public Realm Section will continue to take the necessary measures to protect this building
