COMHAIRLE CONTAE ÁTHA CLIATH THEAS
SOUTH DUBLIN COUNTY COUNCIL
MEETING OF TALLAGHT AREA COMMITTEE

QUESTION NO.
QUESTION: Councillor L. Dunne
"After a successful motion, calling for a plaque to be installed in Sheehy Skeffington Meadows some years back with the history of Hanna Sheehy Skeffington and in recognition of the estate being called after her, can the Manager explain why there has been a delay & can this be now go ahead?"
REPLY:
The installation of a plague in the Sheehy Skeffington Meadows inadvertently did not progress. The Council commits to prioritise the installation of the plague in the estate which will provide information on Hanna Sheehy Skeffington which the estate is named after. Appropriate wording for the plague and location in the estate will also need to be decided upon.
