QUESTION: Councillor L. Dunne

"To ask the Manager to make contact with the Management company who is responsible for Killinarden Shops/Centra/apartments and request that they improve the aesthetics by painting the outside of the apartments, provide extra bins outside the shops and to have a scheduled rota for cleaning the overall area?"

REPLY:

This area is patrolled by the Litter Warden on a regular basis. On the 12th of April the Litter Warden noted that the area in front of the shops was clean and there was a bin in place outside the Centra. The Litter Warden continues to engage with the shop owners in relation to litter matters and the provision of bins, renewed contact will be made with the Management Company in relation to these matters.
