QUESTION: Councillor C. O'Connor

"To ask the CEO to present an update on plans for the provision of the long promised Library at Citywest; will he detail contacts he has had in the matter and make a statement?"

REPLY:

The Council engaged in a tender process to identify a development partner for the provision of a library in Citywest. The tender process is still ongoing and the closing date for Stage 2 submissions to the competitive dialogue process was 29th March. Submissions will be evaluated and scored in the coming weeks with successful tenderers being invited to participate in Stage 3. An update will issue to members upon completion of the tender process.
