MOTION: Councillor Alan Hayes

That South Dublin County Council provide a list of dates and locations when jetting and gully clearance has been undertaken in the Woodfarm Estate and Kennelsfort Road areas of Palmerstown.

REPORT:

Road gullies are cleaned by Oxigen Environmental Ltd on behalf of South Dublin County Council under the provision of the road sweeping and associated services contract.  Gullies are generally cleaned once per year, the gullies in Woodfarm Estate are due to be cleaned commencing on 26 May '23 while gulley cleaning on Kennelsfort Road is due to commence on 13 July '23.  The contractor has been asked to examine the condition of gullies in both these locations to determine if they need to be brought forward in the contract schedule.
