QUESTION: Councillor M. Johansson

To ask the Chief Executive for the findings of the report agreed by Area Committee (Motion 9/Item 77686) at the January meeting regarding contracts with Top Security on council owned/managed buildings?

REPLY:

A review of security services provided by Top Security has been carried out. One legacy arrangement for the Equine Centre in Clondalkin exists, whereby SDCC agreed as part of financial support to assist with running costs of the Centre and took over the payment of security services.

SDCC has a corporate contract with Manguard Security, and security requirements across all Council buildings are provided through the Corporate contract.
