QUESTION: Councillor S. O'Hara

To ask the Chief Executive will the tree maintenance team prune the overgrown tree outside Zip and Sew Rathcoole Village? The local residents feel the tree is quite dangerous.

REPLY:

The tree in question outside Zip and Sew on Rathcoole mainstreet was inspected in 2022 and found to require no maintenance at that time.  Rathcoole Village has beein included in the 2023 to 2025 tree maintenance programme.  This tree and other trees in the area will be inspected in due course to determine what maintenance works, if any, are required to each tree.
