That this Area Committee calls on Council to provide a signal pedestrian crossing at the top of the Boot Road.

REPORT:

The Traffic section will look to design a controlled crossing at the location in the attached picture. This may mean some road narrowing or central reservation work to ensure that approach speeds are curtailed in order to facilitate a safe controlled pedestrian crossing at ths point. 

It is likely that we can deliver this crossing and speed reduction works in 2023.
