QUESTION NO.14
QUESTION: Councillor William Joseph Carey
To ask the Chief Executive if there is a regular schedule for the mobile library and if St Johns Drive, Greenpark and Cherrywood crescent are still locations for the service.
REPLY:
There is a regular schedule for the mobile library, the timetable for March 2023 is attached. St. John's Drive and Cherrywood Crescent are no longer locations for the service. The regular weekly stops in Clondalkin are at Melrose Green and Kilcarbery Grange, both on a Monday evening. We continuously monitor public engagement at all of our mobile library stops so that we can respond to demand and keep abreast of demographic change.
As well as the public stops, the mobile library service has a full programme of school visits, and also provides monthly home deliveries to 107 people across the county through the Library @ Home service.
