Approved applicants for Social Housing supports can apply for medical priority by completing an HMD Form 1 which must be signed by 2 medical practitioners. All HMD Form 1 are assessed by the Councils Independent Medical Referee.
Our construction and allocations teams, along with the AHB bodies, continue to work on planning for new delivery of homes to meet the existing medical priority housing needs.
With regard to the query of transfer in adapted properties who no longer require them, we have contacted a number of these tenants to discuss the surrender of their current property. We will prioritise these tenants for a transfer based on the demand for their adapted property.
