QUESTION: Councillor M. Duff

"Noting that parking by commercials vehicles on the large grass verges on Dalepark Road, Aylesbury, continues to happen, could the Manager indicate to this Area Committee if there is an intention to install parking bays on this stretch of busy road or what plans does he have to provide better parking facilities in this area?"

REPLY:

The Council is aware of illegal parking at this location. An Garda Síochána are responsible for enforcement of illegal parking. The Council will contact An Garda Síochana and request that the area be inspected and enforcement of illegal parking be carried out where required. Parking Bays will not be provided at this location. However, if any future developments are being proposed in the vicinity parking for HGVs may be considered.
