To call on the Chief Executive to provide an update on the planned football pitch to be provided at Lett's Field?

REPORT:

Outstanding works on the open space were recently completed including connecting footpaths to allow for community connectivity. The remainder of the open space has been verti-drained and also some additional drainange works carried out. The area has been handed over to our public realm section who will further maintain the open space. The area of open space available for a playing pitch is approx. 45 x 27.5 metres. This area is suitable for a seven-a-side play and /or informal kickabouts. The Housing Department are currently liasing and in discussion with our Public Realm section in relation to the current condition of the open space lands and suitability for a pitch.
