QUESTION: Councillor C. O'Connor

"To ask the CEO to detail contacts he has had with Tymon Bawn Football Club in respect of their concerns regarding building works at Brady's Field, Old Bawn and will he also confirm actions he has taken regarding other community concerns?"

REPLY:

Contact was made with the Football Club in November to arrange a meeting on site.  Unfortunately due to clashes with availability this meeting did not take place.  The representative for the club has again been contacted this month to agree a meeting date to discuss their concerns around the building works at the Brady's Field Development.

In addition in October a meeting was held with locally elected members and local community representatives to discuss the design options for the re-instatement of the Old Bawn Stone.  It was agreed at that meeting four design options would be presented to the local community to allow the community pick their preferred option. The community survey was held in November and the results of the survey have been communicated to all stakeholders.

If there are any further community concerns in relation to the development they can contact the housing department.
