"To ask the CEO to add Springfield Estate Tallaght to the Tree maintenance programme presented to the December meeting?"
REPLY:
The Springfield area of Tallaght is made up of the 12 estates listed in the table below. The table provided sets out the relevant information regarding each estate as it relates to maintenance of the tree population in the area. Of the total of 12 estates listed below four of these have been included in the tree maintenance programme for the period 2023 to '25, this programme of works was presented to the meeting of the area committee in December. Seven of the estates in the area were included in recent tree maintenance programmes and the year in which works were carried out is given below. It is not necessary to include these areas in the new maintenance programme due to the fact that they have been attended to in recent years. Whitebrook Park has not been included in the new programme and there are no records of it having been included in either of the last 2 programmes, this matter will be examined further to determine what course of action is required in relation to this estate.
