"That this Committee requests an examination of the junction at Tymon North Road/Blessington Road which has a history of traffic accidents and give consideration to the possibility of locating traffic lights at this junction."

 

REPORT:

As part of the traffic calming scheme for the Tymon North residential cell a full set of traffic lights incorporating pedestrian facilities will be installed at this junction. The traffic calming scheme will be constructed over the summer.
