QUESTION: Councillor L. Dunne

"To ask Chief Executive if there are plans to replace the paving at the side of the Council building adjacent to the car park that is causing issues for wheel chair users and users of walking frames?"

REPLY:

A contractor was appointed in November and started in December on site on the works for the Tallaght Public Realm project which was approved at the October 2020 Council Meeting

These works will include the replacement of the paving referred to in the question.

The Contractor has been appointed to carry out the works for the Civic Plaza, as well as the Mobility Hub and Public Square, the Part 8 for which was approved in October 2021.
