That this Area Committee requests an update on the status of the affordable purchase scheme in Kilcarberry and if the problems regarding financing of loans has been overcome.

REPORT:

The Priorities Agreements with Bank of Ireland, Permanent TSB and Allied Irish Bank (including its subsidiaries EBS and Haven Mortgages) have all now been executed. Applicants are currently in the process of applying for formal loan offers from their relevant lenders. Legal packs and contracts will issue as soon as the formal loan offers have been received.
