MOTION: Councillor Alan Edge

That the small copse in the centre of Sally Park be cleaned up as promised in February this year to prevent ASB and help residents working to improve the appearance of the green space.

REPORT:

A commitment was given at the February Area Committee meeting that the area of undergrowth around the copse of trees in the centre of the open space in Sally Park would be cut back and the area cleaned up.  Unfortunately it was not possible to get this work done before the commencement of the wildlife act ban, which starts on March 1st and runs to August 31st each year.    This work is scheduled now and will be carried out before the end of November.
