Items discussed:
- Removal of Shrubbery along pathway (from Templeroan roundabout towards Ballyboden roundabout)
- Benches for estate entrance
- Templeroan View – inadequate space for parking
- Development of main green space
- Templeroan Meadows – removal of tree stumps
- Commitments given
Commitments given:
- To arrange a meeting with the group in the next 3 to 4 weeks to look at the area (from Templeroan roundabout towards Ballyboden roundabout) and agree what needs pruning and thinning out (Eamon Harnett, SDCC)
- To meet with the group to discuss the benches. Will look at including in the improvement works scheduled for next year. (Brendan Redmond, SDCC)
- To meet the resident’s association on site to discuss the best use of the green area. Has noted it in the list for consideration for 2023 improvement works programme. (Brendan Redmond, SDCC)
- Re tree stumps - the Council are engaging contractors at the moment and the work will be scheduled to be done either the end of this year (2022) or early next year (2023). (Brendan Redmond, SDCC)
