SCOIL SANTAIN N.S. - TRAFFIC CHAOS

QUESTION: Councillor E. Maloney

"To ask the Manager to report on the progress made on the traffic chaos at the entrance to Scoil Santain, National School, and to indicate what consideration is being given to the use of Council land near the main entrance to the school?"

REPLY:

The traffic situation at all schools within the County is currently being assessed and the findings and recommendations will form a report to this area committee. However the provision of parking facilities in the vicinity of school entrances is not within the remit of the Council and is primarily a matter for the school authorities.
